App vs Mobile Browser — What Is the Difference?
The bd app and mobile browser both use the same account and balance. Log in from anywhere — your funds and history remain intact.

Both the app and browser offer the same features, though the app provides more convenience with notifications and faster access.
How to Keep Your Account Secure on Your Phone
Logging in on mobile is easy, but keeping your account secure is equally important. Following a few basic practices for login and password management on the bd app keeps your account safe.
- Keep screen lock on — use a PIN, pattern or fingerprint, whichever you prefer. Even if your phone is lost, your account stays protected.
- Verify your OTP — an OTP is sent to your phone at login or for large transactions. Do not share it with anyone, including the support team.
- Never share your password — do not give your password to anyone under any circumstances. bd will never ask for your password.
- Avoid public Wi-Fi — use a trusted network when banking or logging in.
- Choose a strong password — create a password using a mix of numbers, letters and symbols, and change it regularly.
